The Wannabe Traveler

Have you ever experienced something and then that something suddenly consumes you? You think about it every single day for the foreseeable future, dream about it, talk about it, etc.

That’s me, in a nutshell!!! In 2022, I traveled out of the United States for the first time in my adult life. Specifically to Italy.

It started off as a half joke, half serious conversation(August 2021) with my girlfriend one night while talking on the phone. “Hey, let’s go to Italy!” , “Ok, let’s go”. As soon as we got off the phone, I started “planning” the trip. Fast forward roughly one year(June 2022), and we are on a plane starting the 17 hour journey to Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino International Airport, Rome, Italy.

Fast forward again, now February 2024 and I have thought about returning to Italy literally every single day since returning home. I am consumed, bitten by the bug, constantly thinking about getting out of the mundane, and wanting to travel the world. I’m hoping that with this blog, I can share and hopefully relate my experiences with you!!
