The Wannabe Traveler

We all have dreams! Dreams come in many shapes, sizes, genres and for different ages. Sometimes they are planned, and sometimes they’re not.

One of the dreams that I have constantly on the forefront of my mind, circulating daily; is returning to a little mountainside village on the Amalfi Coast. Positano, Italy. This place from what I know has always been a “honey hole”, but in the last decade or so has really become a pretty common place to travel to when traveling to Italy. This still doesn’t change the fact that this place has ensnared my heart.

Like I’ve mentioned previously, I think about this place daily. My girlfriend and I went in the summer of 2022 on a whim, not expecting it to be anything more than just a pretty place and somewhere cool to travel to. Boy were we wrong! The people there were so hospitable and nice. The architecture and the mountainside views are breathtaking. The food is absolutely amazing. I fully have the intent to return in the near future.

All this being said, talking about dreams. Some people just leave it at “its just a dream.” Never to be anything more.
